Dream Lab's Takin' a lil' Nap

My aunt describes the creative process as follows:
1. Live life
2. Learn stuff
3. Share what you’ve learned
4. Say “Ta Da”

She says the “Ta Da,” part is certainly fun, but if you haven’t spent time living life and learning stuff, pretty soon, you won’t have much to “Ta Da” about.

Well, I don’t have to worry about that right now.  My life is full and rich and I’m learning tons of cool stuff.  I’ll have plenty of stuff to share in the coming weeks and hopefully some of it will be “Ta Da,” worthy.  It’s just that for right now, that “Live life” part is taking up a lot of energy.

On September 8th I had a hysterectomy.  Now, the surgery went great and I don’t have any cancer (a definite “Ta Da” moment if  I’ve ever heard one)!!! I have lovely people taking walks with me, helping me grocery shop and bringing me fantastic meals.  I’m not in a lot of pain and again, NO CANCER.  So life is great.  It is however, a lot.

I guess I just want to officially acknowledge the Meme-Mail sabbatical I’ve been on for the last few weeks.  Ideally, I would have announced it first so I didn’t leave you in suspense, but I didn’t know that I needed to take it, until I was taking it and by then I felt like a dork for not realizing sooner, and for letting you guys down, and then . . . well, you probably know how it goes from there.

But Dream Lab, like life, is about learning stuff and starting over again, and sometimes even again (ad infinitum, it seems sometimes).  So, sorry for the unannounced break, but here I am, announcing it.

I’ll probably be out of commission for the next two weeks, and after that, I will ramp back up every other week.  But rest assured, Meme-Mails are a thing and this Magical mystery tour is not stopping any time soon!

In the mean-time, relax, be your brilliant-selves, and do one thing that makes you feel like a dork every day.
